What's happening at Precise Shooter this week, 2016-02-07
First and foremost, new hours this week. Jim is on vacation, so we will have a very spotty coverage and spotty
service - please bear with us this week. And we do apologize for the short notice - right now our schedule, including
vacations, is built around expected time to Lynnwood license, and these expectations are changing as we're progressing
from stage to stage.
We will be open Tuesday and Thursday 9am-11am and 2pm-8pm, and Saturday our normal hours, 10am-6pm. Jim will be on vacation
all this week. Please use email and web site for communicating with us as much as possible - the phone will be on
answering machine most of the time.
If you don't know what you need and looking for advice, come after 6pm on Tuesday and Thursday, or on Saturday.
If you come to do a firearm transfer on Tuesday or on Thursday, please use our reservation
system - because of our much reduced manpower we will need extra time to cope, and it will ensure shorter wait times
and generally better experience.
We will also be switching to our old hours, Tue-Fri 11am-7pm and Sat 10am-6pm starting the week of 2/16.
Also, we are on the finish line with our Lynnwood store.
The Federal license have been obtained, we are waiting on Lynnwood Police to issue our State FFL. All other
dependencies have been handled, so the moment we have the new license, we will be moving over there.
We hope to land there the week of 2/16, if everything works out really well. The conservative date is the last week
of February, though in the end it all depends on Lynnwood Police.
Meanwhile, our inventory system has been reopened for special orders. The delivery will be at the Lynnwood store,
so we cannot precisely guarantee the date, but at this point it is imminent.
Please see the catalog here, and the refresher on how our special-ordering
system works here.
Also, as a teaser, we have fantastic inventory of firearms and ammunition -
10 cases of inexpensive but high quality Federal RTP 9mm at $11.99/box, fantastic deals on 40S&W and 45ACP ammunition,
and tons of 22LR at pre-craze prices (we do ration our 22LR ammunition to 100rd per customer/group).
We used the downtime to build up our shooting accessories section - we now carry a very large inventory of
sand bags...

...and more.
Our AR-15 parts store has grown huge - we have over 200 SKUs, including individual pins and springs. You can find
all this in our AR-15 parts store.
With election coming later this year, you can be sure that there will be major disruptions in ammunition and component
markets, as hordes of people will succumb to their bi-annual hoarding instincts. We have amassed a huge
reloading section, bigger than anything between the two Cabelas, and now quite
competitive with Cabelas itself:
- 84 SKUs of RCBS dies
- 114 SKUs of Lee dies
- 69 SKUs of Dillon equipment, 9 machines
- Lots of powder, bullets (160 SKUs!), cases, primers, and everything else
We have an excellent collecting of books, including by Glen Zediker, who is famous for his series on competitive AR-15s.
And last, but not least - we now carry Savage and Remington actions, and we have 15 in stock. Actions are not considered
to be firearms, so you can buy them even while we are still in Seattle!
