What's happening at Precise Shooter - 2017-01-31
Welcome to our first update in 2017!
Politics
You may have heard that Bob Ferguson, the WA Attorney General, is trying to push through an
"Assault Weapons" ban
at the state level. This is the same person who filed an
amicus brief in support of Seattle gun and
ammunition "tax", voluntarily yielding the State's pre-emptive right to regulate firearms.
This, of course, is going nowhere fast - "assault weapons" law has been proposed in State Legislature literally every year - and it always
failed. It will fail again this time - WA State is an outdoorsy state, House is split about evenly, and there are quite a few gun-friendly
Democrats (please support these folks - we need to win the Dem side to the gun cause!). It is incredibly unlikely to clear the House, and
if it does, it will go to Republican-controlled Senate, where it has less than zero chance of being accepted.
On top of it, according to Gallup polling,
support for "assault weapons" ban is incredibly low.
So why is AG Ferguson is pursuing a guaranteed failure? We don't know. Perhaps he's angling for
Mike 'I've Earned My Place in Heaven' Bloomberg money
for his next campaign. Or trying to gauge just how ignorant the urban voters are on the issue, perhaps preparing for a future initiative.
Be it as it may, we at Precise Shooter have decided to have Bob Ferguson "assault weapon" sale. Starting right now
we are lowering the price for Anderson AR-15 lower receivers to $49.95. Grab one, grab a few, bring a friend along.
The more people we make "assault weapons" owners the merrier!
Also, let's take this as an opportunity to educate people. There was just a really good discussion on Reddit
recently, with a few local voter's minds changed. Share http://www.assaultweapon.info liberally on Reddit, Facebook, tweet it, show it to your friends. There is simply
NO WAY an educated voter could support this law, and it's incumbent on us, the gun community, to educate voters.

Shot Show Loot!
We had a very productive trip to Shot Show this year. We came with a massive orders of cleaning supplies, we are starting to stock Berger bullets (a massive
order should be delivered tomorrow, but give us a couple of days to accept it into the inventory), we have a few high-tech gadgets coming (we will tell you
what they are when they get here), and we learned about super cool stuff that will ship later. Keep checking our updates!
But in today updates I am happy to present a few CZ-83 pistols that we were able to snag there.
Description | SKU | UPC | Available | Price |
CZ-83 is unfortunately no longer made - the manufacturer discontinued them a few years ago. This is a commercial version of
CZ82, which was a staple of Czech police and military and law enforcement
around the world for 3 decades now. They were once imported en masse, but the supplies dried up to a trickle about five years
ago. These are the first I have seen in many, many, many years.
These pistols employ blowback design and so are very accurate. Unlike their smaller brethren, PPKs, the bigger frame and
in particular, the grip make the recoil much easier.
The bores on this guns are in excellent shape - and the guns themselves were rated between good and excellent by the importer,
depending on the amount of wear. In no case the wear is considerable. We have a few shooter black guns...
...one rare satin...
...and one super rare bronze...
I have a pretty large collection of these guns of my own, and this is only the second time I see a bronze one, and the very first time
I could get my hands on a satin one. These are RARE, and if you are a serious CZ collector, you want to grab them before
they are gone.
But the rares of them all is the one gun we have in 32ACP. The only one on Gunbroker right now is going for $755
as of this writing, more than a day before the auction closes. Ours is in good condition, in the original box serialized to the gun.
Another great surplus deal we brought from the SHOT Show is 3 Yugoslavian Mausers 24/47. These were graded by the distributors are Very Good with cracked stock.
The barrels on them are indeed in great shape - very bright - and the stocks have pretty minimal damage. Be the first at the store to pick the best one ($299.95)!
More surplus!
One of our distributors who often has great police buyback Glock deals have been receiving a trickle of uncommon (i.e. not 22) surplus Glocks, and we have been buying them.
As a result we have a pretty decent collection of surplus Glocks right now on hands - a great way to buy a Glock for a lot less than a new one. They are in tip top condition
mechanically, with excellent or better barrels, and varying amounts of holster wear on the slides.

Finally, we still have a few Taurus 82 revolvers ((currently unavailable)) - they are all gone from
the distributors, so what we have is it, a few Astra Police revolvers with the original boxes ((currently unavailable)), five last
Beretta 71 pistols, one on hand, 4 coming from the distributor - I got the last 4 ((currently unavailable)), and
several Polish P64 pistols ((currently unavailable)) which I highly, highly recommend to anyone in search of high quality small gun.
Other cool guns from recent shipments
We have recently replenished our supply of small Taurus revolvers...
...we have finally received our shipment of M&P 9 2.0 guns...
...and we are up to date on the new Ruger guns - LCPs...
...and the new Mark IVs...
Upcoming ammunition deals
One of the deals that we brought from the SHOT Show is an ammunition package. We are able to snag brass cased 9mm ammunition (S&B and Magtech)
cheap enough so that we can sell it at $199.95 per case, plus tax. This we are selling by pre-order - no pre-payment, but a gentleman|woman's
word is required, - so if you would like to participate in this deal, send an email to sergey@preciseshooter.com.
Coming next week
Our yearly shipment of Dillon equipment is en-route - it left the building on Monday by truck. Machines, dies, conversion kits, everyhting that we ran short on,
and still at 2016 prices!
Happy shooting!
