2015-04-22: What's happening @ Precise Shooter this week
Vacations
First things first, we are CLOSED on Thursday, 4/30, for vacation: Jim will be murdering small furry animals somewhere in the fly-over lands
(Precise Shooter does not condone any sort of violence, including violence against small furry animals). We will reopen on Friday as usual.
Events
Our reloading classes are filling quickly - as of this writing there are the last three spots available at this week's Precision Loading class.
The classes are free, we do them to create more new shooters - so please help us spread the word by recommending our
events to friends, family, and coworkers.
There is a link on each event's page that produces a printable flyer.
We can only ensure that we continue enjoying shooting sports for years to come if and only if general population supports it - and the best way
to make this happen is by making shooting sports popular!
Ammunition
This is really an ammunition week. We have tons of budget 223, 380, 7.62x39, 5.45x39, and lots more. Our supplies of $11.99 9mm are somewhat dwindling,
BUT lots more is on the way - and we should have even cheaper CCI ammunition around the end of the week. So don't rush, there will be more (and for less)!
If you shoot 5.45x39, you should definitely check out this Hornady load.
It is expensive-ish (though note that this is for 50 rounds, and so it's not really THAT much more expensive), but it is about the only 5.45x39
available on the market right now which will not eat your rifle.
Also, one of our distributors decided to drop the Buffalo Bore line, and dumped their current supplies CHEAP. We are passing most of the savings to you.
This ammunition ranges from $24-$26 at MidwayUSA, our price is $14.95.
Do note that Buffalo Bore's ammunition is VERY hot, and should not be used in firearms where chamber is not fully supported - for instance, Glocks.
See this and a few more deals at our ammunition page.
Firearms
Glock 43s are continuing to trickle in. We will be receiving one more on Wednesday (though it will only be available for sale on Thursday). First come,
first served. With the exception of G17L, we sell our Glocks at Minimum Advertising Price, which means that you cannot possibly buy one cheaper on the
Internet, and you are definitely not finding one for less in a local retail store.
However, the biggest, baddest acquisition of the week is a bunch of Armscor 1911s we're getting towards the end of the week. I am not saying which, or
for how much, but check our site Friday-ish for a BIG announcement (and if you are in the market for an Armscor in 45, I would wait until then before buying one).
And if you don't know what an Armscor (Rock Island Armory) is, this would be a fantastic time to do some
research.
Meanwhile, browse our firearms section, or drop by for a paw at Anschutz 1903 at the store.
